The rail clamp plant.
Permanently elastic rail clamps for superstructures have been being produced at our state-of-the-art plant in Coswig since 2008. Production is almost fully automatic, and is permanently monitored and inspected in accordance with German and international quality standards. In addition to this, production is subject to a never-ending improvement process.
The components manufactured at our rail clamp plant satisfy all the requirements made of a modern superstructure: they offer frictional connection, durable clamping of rail and sleeper, and divert the horizontal loads through angle guide plates into the load-optimized contour of the concrete sleeper, in the case of W system for instance, offer the option of adjusting the track position and height position, are not subject to shearing loads at their sleeper screws, can be pre-assembled and require absolutely no maintenance.
We offer a wide range of rail clamps so that we are able to comply with the technically varying rail attachment systems of the W system.
- Clamp Skl 1 is the tried-and-tested standard clamp.
- Rail fastener W97 with clamp Skl 1/97 is an adaptor solution for use of rails S49/S54 (rail foot width 125 mm) on concrete sleeper B70 – W60 for UIC 60 (rail foot width 150 mm).
- Clamp Skl 14 is used for higher speeds in the track and an optimized pre-assembly position.
- The special aspect of the Skl 15 TK for use in high-speed sections relates to its flat characteristic (of the Load-Spring-Deflection Diagram). This characteristic means lower loss of toe load with identical subsidence, compared to the types of clamp previously used for high-speed operation.
- Clamp Skl 20/21 TK offers an optimum connection for rail fastening systems whose elasticity and rail subsidence behaviour necessitate a high elastic deformation of the clamp. This specialist is also characterized by a flat characteristic (of the Load-Spring-Deflection Diagram).
- Clamp Skl 20 TKHH is available for heavy- haul traffic (up to 40 metric ton axle load).
We have the Skl 12 in our product range for equipping the KS system with a technically tried-and-tested and economically practical clamp.
