The Königsborn rail welding plant.

The following applies to rail construction projects with long construction sections: the longer the rails to be installed, the more efficient the construction work on site and the cheaper your rail project. This is why we have constructed our own continuous-welded rail welding plant. With this decision we are able to emphasise further our claim as a system supplier.

Over a floor area of 30,000 m², we weld rail strips with lengths of up to 210 metres. Using special-purpose systems, we process all popular flat-bottomed rails individually in accordance with the conditions of your project. This highly-precise technique ensures that the welding seams and surfaces meet the required quality standards. In addition, we recondition old rails and produce transition rails and insulated rail joints.

Thanks to the central position of the Königsborn plant near to Magdeburg, we reliably supply the rails to any location required. Our sophisticated just-in-time logistics make sure that the consignment is only delivered when you need the new tracks on site. If it is necessary to exchange rails, we transport the old rails back to our plant on request and recondition them.
