The Bridge is located in the Black Forest area, popular with tourists. That is why the requirements for the project included avoiding an intensive development of noise. For this reason, our steel beam bridge sleeper (SBS) with its elastically borne ECF support points was an excellent alternative solution to the conventional wooden beam bridge sleeper.

Owing to the fact that the system was preassembled at the works, conversion ran smoothly and on schedule. Even after installation, there was satisfaction on all sides. Residents are pleased with the clearly perceptible reduction in noise. Train drivers report a feeling when driving that they have never before experienced. And the operator, AVG, emphasizes that the SBS is an ideal and sophisticated solution.
