The KRUPP ECF rail fastener system.

The KRUPP ECF system is one variant of rail fastener system. This is a height-adjustable and laterally adjustable fastener structure that can be used for any type of rail.

The rail support point includes an elastic rail pad guaranteeing a static subsidence of 1.5 mm with an axle travel of mass of 20 metric tons. Depending on soil category, softer or harder rail pads are also available between 10 and 60 kN/mm. The spacing between rail support points is generally 60 cm.

The KRUPP ECF rail fastener system is connected to the LTEs using concrete-set through-connectors (l = 240 mm) and hexagon bolts (M22 x 230 mm).
