Development.

The “System NBU” was ready to patent within only three years: the successful test of a prototype at University of Technology in Munich (TU München) in 2003 with 7.5 million load cycles was followed in 2004 by EBA approval for operational trials and in 2005 by granting of the German and European patent.

A patent was also registered for all important railway markets around the globe.

In 2007, we managed to conclude a Trial Contract for the “System NBU” with Deutsche Bahn (DB Netz AG), whereupon in 2008 a trial line was able to be successfully tested and released for permanent operation in the line network of DB AG (line 2600, Aachen – German border with Belgium).
