MessReg PTP.
The MessReg PTP (Point to Point) system is part of the DIAS of the ThyssenKrupp Points Service. Measurement with this system is conducted in three steps:
- The data (i.e. all measuring points including tolerances and any additional measurements) of the points and tracks to be measured are selected on the PC.
- Measurement is conducted point by point and with menu prompting in the track. Only the track gauge needs to be controlled and the Save key needs to be pressed. The superelevation measurements or flangeway calculation are thus performed automatically. Extended visual inspection tasks can be recorded and saved digitally with the aid of the checklist.
- Lastly, the data is read out with the PC and checked in detail.
